Flagboy Giz is a Black Masking Indian and artist rooted in a generations-long Mardi Gras Day tradition. His work centers on hand-sewn beadwork and culture bearing.
Every suit is made bead by bead, feather by feather.
This is not costume work. It is detailed, disciplined, high-level craftsmanship grounded in tradition.
This practice takes a full year and culminates on Mardi Gras Morning
